Tengi holds a joint honours degree in Law and Economics from the University of Wales, UK and a Masters in Law (LLM) from the University of Bristol, UK. An experienced lawyer and public policy expert, she works in the extractive sector governance space to enhance the environmental, social and economic benefits of extraction to citizens.
She serves as the Program Coordinator of the Nigeria Natural Resource Charter (NNRC); a non-profit policy institute that promotes the effective management of natural resources for public good. As Program Coordinator, she coordinates a prolific group of extractive sector experts; drawn from ex-government officials, academia, civil society and industry experts to determine solutions to improve extractive sector governance in Nigeria. She has had speaking engagements in Ghana and Qatar; providing rich diverse perspectives on the global impact of good governance or lack thereof on the Nigerian and global economies.
