Yagazie Eguare is the Founder & Creative Director, Gazmadu Photography
Studios; a leading award winning photography company, focused on building
relationships, celebrating beauty and love through timeless work of art.

Although trained as a Doctor of Optometry, she began her journey into photography in
2012, through the Future Enterprise Support Scheme (TFESS) and though completely
unexpected; she has gone on to champion the transformation and reinvention of the
company to lead by creatively capturing the genuine essence and love of every couple,
woman or family in her pictures.

Yagazie is a creative knot aficionado, whose photographs are now reflective of her truth
which states that there are no limitations, only that which you place on yourself. With
professional eyes and fingers, her work is greatly influenced by her deep love for God and
an unwavering desire to help people become a better version of themselves through her
daily interaction and continuous investment in them.

Often described as calm, artistic and creative; Yagazie was nominated as one of the most
inspiring women in Nigeria, 2019. The winner, 2017 future awards under the photography
category and a 2017 recipient of The Edwin George Prize for photography. She is driven
with a passion for excellence, integrity and intentional joy which is experienced in her daily
interactions and her desire to remain a light in her generation.

She is happily married with 2 children and continues to expand her learning through
various platforms- some of which includes the Sue Bryce Education platform. Her vision is
to walk consciously in God’s purpose for her life, building a global brand a company that
continues to tell trans-generational stories that impacts and inspires greatness in others.
