I am a trained dressmaker and garment pattern-maker. I am the founder of the Nedoux Sewing Club, and I convene one-day sewing workshops structured to introduce absolute beginner to the DIY sewing craft easily. I've done so for 3 years now and trained at least 500 people.

I have an MSc. in Finance & Economics, and have spent the bulk of my career working in either in banking or finance related jobs, however, I believe strongly in the additional acquisition of DIY skills and vocational skills, particularly because skills sometimes serve as hobbies which enhance the quality of one'e experience in life, and skills can also pave the way for entrepreneurial opportunities.

A hobby could transition into a business venture once there is a demand for its output (product or service).

I champion the cause of DIY-ism because there is a great sense of fulfilment from enjoying the benefits of one's own skillful efforts. Asides from the money-saving merits, self-sufficiency is such a morale-booster!
