In recent times, we have seen how technology is changing the lifestyle in Nigeria. Such brilliant examples can be seen in transportation, investment, savings etc. Daily, tech platforms are being developed to ease the lives of individuals and the way businesses operate.

The Informal Sector in Nigeria (consisting of rural merchants amongst others) accounts for 65% of its GDP according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) but is highly underserved with technology.

Join seasoned economist Tunji Andrews, the Product Lead of Spaces O2O Funto Faleye, Co-founder of Crowdyvest Tope Omotolani and other industry leaders building products and services for small scale merchants, as they examine the impact technology in the informal sector has on the economy.
