In the last decade we have seen a monumental rise in Influencer marketing across the world. From million dollar posts on Instagram to trending hashtags on twitter and sparking viral conversations online, there has been a leaning on digital marketing as the next best tool. But really, do numbers of following mean anything if it doesn’t lead to conversion? Is the efficacy of a campaign measured by sales or the reach by the influencer? Is Influence based on just projections i.e influencer’s reach or on results i.e sales recorded based on influencer’s reach?
