This interactive discussion will highlight the bridge between future skills and basic education in Nigeria. The World Economic Forum has identified the top 10 skills of the future as Complex problem solving, Critical thinking, Creativity, people management, Coordinating with others, Emotional Intelligence, Service Orientation, Negotiation and Cognitive flexibility. It is therefore important to highlight the value that basic education contributes to building these future skills.

Speakers leading this session will also discuss the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders in rearing a generation focused on innovations for the future to bring Nigeria to a recognized state of leadership in emerging trends and future technology

Attendees will gain a better understanding of the relevance of basic education in developmental growth and the need to focus on global future skills.
