Photography has always been an important tool in destination marketing. More than ever it has acquired increased significance in the current digital and social media age, as evident in platforms like Instagram. The goal of the Travel Photographers Meetup is to bring professional photographers together under one roof to share ideas on how best to promote tourists attractions, monuments and other places of interest across Nigeria to Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike. It will also be an avenue to inspire upcoming photographers looking to explore careers in the travel and tourism industry.
