“Design thinking is the essential ability to combine empathy, creativity and rationality to meet people's needs and achieve impact”

In recent times, different industries—including international development—are beginning to see a monumental shift in the way interventions, strategies, projects, programs and products are designed for consumption. They are taking a new route referred to as “Design Thinking.”

Referencing case studies from around the world and professional experience, panelists will offer lessons learned and opportunities where through design thinking, they captured the intricacies of the users, navigated difficult scenarios and delivered exceptional results with record impact.

Featured panelist are experts in the field of international development, technology, and human centered design. They have delivered impactful results, and have worked with some of the leading organizations in social design and implementation ranging from the Department for International Development to the MacArthur Foundation.
