What is the unintended consequence of that product, service or policy?"

This is the central question guiding this conversation.

Humanity is at the crossroads; technology and innovation have been advertised as capable of disrupting jobs, markets, politics, and agency. However, we believe the narrative is incomplete. Products and innovations can be thoughtfully designed to have positive impacts on human well-being - and these impacts can be measured. The panel discussion will bring together designers, software engineers, ethics enthusiasts, creatives and chief executives to shape a conversation that helps individuals, businesses/startups, nonprofits, and government think through how solutions are being designed and deployed, with a focus on the intended and unintended uses of these products and it’s long term effect on the survival and flourishing of the human collective.
