At the global level, a major trend in food is that consumers are interacting more with their food and are demanding to know more about where their food has come from, who produced it and how they produced it. In view of this, there is a valid need for the agribusiness sector to deepen and embrace the utilisation of Blockchain technology. At its core, a Blockchain is a trust machine enabling transparency through collaborated efforts.

Blockchain agriculture is one of the compelling use cases that makes the process of growing and supplying food simpler. However, the benefits of Blockchain, and what the technology is, can seem daunting to the uninitiated. Yet this rapidly evolving and disruptive technology will fundamentally change the way we do business.

At the session, we will highlight what are trends, technological platforms, tools, and methodologies in the Blockchain Agriculture sector.
