With the rapid growth in technology, corporations and decision makers are dealing with the reality that their products and services have effects on people's well-being. This masterclass will leverage on the research and the trends on mind, wellness, happiness, the paradox of choice, the effect of technology on relationships and decision making, to help participants understand how the world has changed drastically while we were not watching, and the decisions in the coming future will center on mind, experience and relationships (the reason Facebook is now considering the removal of the Like counts). It is meant to be a conversation starter on what Joy, Inc. has learnt about how people will make decisions, how business decisions have affected and will affect mental and emotional health, and how they can responsibly plan for a future where consumers will be more and more aware, but more and more fragile in their minds, and what they will demand of those who are selling them stuff.
