"We sometimes feel as consumers or users of a service that having a great experience is a one-way street. We really do not care if the Taxi driver just lost his dad and worked all through the night,or if he is one day away from losing his home. All we care about is him not missing his way, playing only the music we listen to and ending the trip at the right time.

What if we flipped things on the head and took a little responsibility? What if we decided that maybe if we were a little nicer and maybe at least said a hello and how are you right before we got in? What if we were just a little more polite? What if we even had an idea of where we were going to in the first place?

These ‘What ifs’ and just sheer curiosity of wondering why these taxi drivers were just ‘funny people’ led to a 30 day experiment on getting to know the person who was behind the home screen. This involved taking time to read their profiles on the app, being patient and polite and striking up conversations during every ride. The lessons learnt from this experience, will form the content for this class, lessons in human behavior, to the most dangerous places to visit at night, the trials of poverty and smart tricks for effective debt recovery. socio-economic sector.

This is an intimate session that will teach participants lessons on empathy, better citizenry, emotional intelligence and different soft skills that can help them relate with other citizens better and ultimately lead to better human relations in the workplace and the community.

The session will feature 2 speakers who carried out the experiment and also a willing taxi driver who will share his different experiences being at this job for years."
