Elizabeth Okogun is a former 100- and 200-meters sprinter. She is passionate about sports development and youth empowerment.
In Sports Management, Elizabeth has played several roles including:
•Founder/CEO of Zinovation Sports, which is a sports management and Advisory firm.
•Lead of the Sports, Environment and Tourism Sub Group for a pre-study on the Nigerian Sports Industry Value Chain,
•Technical Lead on Sports, Education, Science and Technology at Inter-Ministerial Technical Session on developing sports as an industry in Nigeria.
•Assistant Secretary of the Eminent Focal Group of the Sports Industry Thematic Group (SITG) in the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).
In addition to these, Elizabeth also has previous work experience with AFA Sports Limited, Continental Sports and Entertainment as Chief Strategy Officer, Sports Executive at Temple Management Company, Client Services Manager at Standard Chartered Bank and Stockbroking officer at Chapel Hill Denham Group, in various capacities, and has also organized numerous sporting events such as the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers 2018, National Private School Games, American Football friendlies, Coaching Camps for children, among others.
She has worked with top class professional talents such as Nigeria’s fastest man, Seye Ogunlewe, Tennis Prodigy Marylove Edwards, The Nigerian Bobsled Team, Hepathlete Moe Sasegbon, Super Falcons player Ebi Onome, Emmanuel Amunike, Federations, International Regulators in the industry
Elizabeth is a certified Digital Marketing Professional from the Digital Marketing Institute in Ireland, attended prestigious sports courses from Columbia University, Lagos Business School and La Liga Business School. She has a Business Administration degree from Babcock University.
